Breast Augmentation also known as Breast Implants are the most common procedure performed by plastic surgeons. Breast implants consist of the surgeon making a small incision in the female breasts and inserting a silcone or saline implant. This is achieved by the surgeon making a small incision on the underside of the breasts and also small incisions around the aerola. After the incisions have been made, excess skin is removed and the breasts are elevated to a more pleasing and youthful shape.
Gynecomastia generally develops in males during purberty and it consists of a males body developing abnormally large mammary glands. This can be mentally distressing as it can lead to embarrassment and insecurities about ones own body.
